The girl who sings at the riverfront

The girl who sings at the riverfront
I have a strange fixation with the stars in your voice and the beads of tears that roll down everytime you sing.
May sound cynical but I love to listen to you when you crack down in the mid to cry
Shedding  debris of something lost long ago.
I wish to do the same,
Take a high pitch and break down to shreds.
Do you feel me?
Anyways, I have been noticing you religiously
And our reflections look so similar in the water running down
Not that I have seen it but sensed it
There are things beyond the purview of sight
Maybe you know that as well
That is why everytime I hum a certain melody
You continue it till it hurts you
Oh it hurts me too
You do break but you're strong, I must say
You continue with it
While I wipe outmy tears
I do not even wonder if you ever notice me
Because it never matters
All that matters is that the stars in your voice glimmer when my voice gets choked in the dark sky.
And you tune in like a flowing stream and gush out the pain that I hide.
And my dear, I only care to know that much
Nothing else.
