The Heart Aches

Hello, we've come a long way now, didn't we? From our simple greets, 'Hello's turned into 'I love you's and we just couldn't hide the fact that we were once two lone souls that has found their home.

We just couldn't ask for more. I found peace with you and you did too. And everything was just perfect. But right now, the heart aches.

No, it isn't because I am hurting, but because the heart is deeply rooting for you. It aches for the things you did on day one. It craves for the attention and affection you've given before. Something's changed, but that does not include what I felt.

I understand that we have lives of our own, working and dealing with our own problems. Trying to survive each and every day given to us. Our world does not revolve around each other. And I understand that, trust me I do.

But I just can't stop my heart from wanting. The moment that I have committed a part of me into you, it seems to be that you have also been a part of me too. And I can't let go of that, even if it aches, it'll only ache for you.
