The little things

If, the flowers bloom on the field, do they, give you that harmonious feeling, of being in peace?

As if they matter, more than the things you see on the way, and by the stars up in the night sky and the cold wind in the late hours, did it make your skin feel fresh and made you feel vulnerable?.

Because for me it did, I thought of how my nights would never be boring, because I could never get tired of staring at those lights up above, and how each time it made me feel at ease, no one's bothering me, no one's there, it's just me, the sky, this roof and nothing else.

And the best thing is, living far away in the city, it's lights out around 10 in the evening, and everybody would be sound asleep, and no one would actually attempt to go out this time of the night, everything is silent, the only melodic sound I hear is the crickets, the dogs barking but more than that, was the silence.

As the cold wind brushed around my face, I didn't know time passed by but one thing I knew, I felt more alive.

I would always trade the fancy outfits, foods, luxurious things-- just for this.

Can anyone feel me?, I wonder. Would anyone understand?, I have reached the place where I belong, and the goal of my soul, which I thought will never be filled with joy, it turned out love is in everything, it can be found in many things.

And maybe, that's where I knew, I was satisfied.
