The lost peace

Again the sun sets and the stars covers the sky. A peaceful ambience settles down as the birds head to their nests and the owl blink its eyes.  The howling of the dogs can be heard from the end of the streets as the cats finds shelter to hide.  But the same darkness brings a restless time for the girl who stains her pillow every night.  The girl who is tired of the uninvited consequences which the world brings to her share.  She smiles all day as if nothing happened.  But as soon as the night settles down her smile fades with every count.  She thinks of the times when tears didn't roll down her eyes and she laughed her heart out.  But now it's just the tears of sorrow which makes her eyes wet. 

Just a few months back she found that happiness in him. The love and affection she has always craved for was all he gave her. But she was not able to keep that with her.
Things changed.
Changed for the worst and she was shattered.
She wanted a chance to make things right.
To love him endlessly, without any doubt.
But, it was all over by the time she realised.
It was time for him to bid goodbye to her.
For forever.
The darkness of the night kills her every hour. Because it's not the time to rejoice but to grieve.
Grieve on the mistake she has comitted and lost that love she  deserved.
The girl is still waiting for a miracle,
Till then its just the darkness and loneliness of her soul.
