The many faced men

I see their faces

They are honest I know

With every passing day

They mature; they grow.

O! They never lie

The truth they contain

Are the truth they seek

And the truth you seek

Ultimately becomes your truth

With time it ripens

And it becomes 'the truth’

‘Truth’—

to which some support and others refuse

Some raise questions and the others show fingers—

‘index or the middle’

ways are different

meaning’s always the same—

‘keep quiet or f*** off’

The life you are living

is certainly not yours.

Your body is a container full of 'the truths'

The truths which you believe as yours

No one could ever know to whom they really belong.

Truths evolve

And so does the many faced men.

The truth knows only the present;

Not the past, not the future

The past of the truth is a lie today

The tomorrow of the truth is also flawed.

To whom you choose

To whom you believe

It doesn’t matter anymore

They all are many faced men

And since their truth is yours too

You are now a many faced man.

Epilogue

This world is a circus.

The uni-faced men are the lions

And the many faced are the ring masters

There are many masters and only a few lions.

The world outside the circus is the real truth

One day the lions will break out,

They will see the outside world

All the masters will turn into ashes

And the circus will end.
