The moment I forgot how to breathe

This story might inspire few of you and might upset few others...But here it goes

I am sure many of us here have experienced break ups and set backs in their life..there must have been multiple instances when you don't know or  what to do, how to solve the situation, how to come out of the well in which you are just falling.

Well, I had one too...in fact many such instances..where I became a coward and chose the easiest and fastest way to end all my worries, or maybe 'almos't chose...I still remember that day and it shivers me till my spine, even now.

I had forgotten breathing...I hadn't realised before that moment that just breathing also was a big task...a very important one...and not an easy one. I felt a load over my neck, like an invisible hand strangling me out of my breathe...I couldn't fight it...I couldn't eat, talk, smile or do anything of my routine tasks..Everything was difficult. No joke made me laugh, no activity interested me, no person motivated me...I had lost complete hope...The only exciting thing left in my life was to plan the ending.

So what if you haven't achieved anything...so what you aren't great...so what if you didn't get the person you wanted to get...does it by any means take away your right to breathe and live?! NO NO NO The answer is a clear big No. As long as you are breathing and living, you are good...just keep going...something will happen...trust me

I want everyone reading this to please understand this, so that they never see the situation I saw. Please don't let yourself do this to yourself. Fight for your right and start the fight by ending the struggle to breathe...forever...don't let this thought come at all...coz believe me, once the thought comes in, it just doesn't leave...Don't let the bitch creep into you. You are a fighter, if you can't fight for your basic right to live, how can you fight for the bigger aims such as happiness, career, ambition, luxury...

So first of all, make sure you are good at the most basic of these..

Everyone here is a fighter, everyone's fights are different, weapons are different, enemies are different..so don't compare...compare just to look how many are fighting in the battlefield and beware of anything from any corner, never put down your weapons and will.

Re read this if you feel weak, get an example...believe me, if I could survive it, you also can survive anything. Yes, I couldn't do it alone...I had to take help. Take help, it isn't wrong. But take help from a dependable one, coz you are very vulnerable at that point...You will have to open up to this person, open your scars and trust that he/she would help heal and not burn those scars away.

I am in no better position (subjectively) even today. Nothing has changed at all in my life, nothing except my will and hope. Its just about the lens you use to look at the same thing. And its you who choose the lens you want to wear and no one else.
