The Virus Outbreak

It's been 3 months, 22 days and 17 hours since the pandemic started. A virus of unknown origin has suddenly entered this world and destroyed so many lives. It didn't stop there. It has toppled governments, economies and claimed the lives of people from so many countries. There is an air of mistrust and suspicion all around us but who is to blame? Resources getting depleted and hospitals running out of rooms. We still haven't come up with a way to combat this virus. There are barricades being put up and strikes all over the country. The only thing left is for the world to become a wasteland and citizens of each country fighting over providing food and medicine but we are far from descending into that nightmarish scenario. In times like these we look for a safe haven and race to go to that destination. We have seen this happen in movies but we never imagined this happening in real life. The fear, uneasiness and anxiety. We are afraid of it. So terrified that we have locked ourselves in our houses and bolted the door shut, waiting to be relieved of that situation.
There are countries who have defeated this virus and are now helping others fight it. They became our beacon of hope. In a dystopian reality like this there's our ray of sunshine. We still have a long way to go. We will not perish until this virus has been eradicated from existence. Until then I wish you good luck because this is the fight for our lives and the lives of every single human being on this planet. To all my comrades out there, fighting, the apocalypse will not be today!
