The Walk

Info

He walked along the sea shore. Sea waves softly caressing his feets. Forming foams and bouncing back and joining the never-ending sea. He had a sly smile plastered to his face. How quickly life changes? He thought.
The long walk tired him. He sat down on the sand. It was still wet. Still he sat anyway. How quickly life changes? His mind again wandered back to that thought. Though it has been years, but still it feels like it happened yesterday. The sounds of the waves crushing against the beach was somehow soothing to him. He stared into the water, it reminded him of her. How calm and soothing she was like the water infront of his sad but somehow satisfied eyes. And how disastrous she became when the storm began.
He sat there for a long time. Staring and observing the setting sun. The orangy sky made him smile. The sun, here setting, somewhere rising  was less beautiful compared to her. Everything about that place reminded him of her. He was grateful they did. Cause his mind wasn't strong enough to do it itself.
He sat there for a long time. Watching the water dissolving the sun. The stars came up, the moon too. Still he didnt move. It was until he heard someone calling, "Grandpa, let's go, the food's ready".
