Third Time's a Charm

I didn't allow myself to fall

to feel bothered by merely phrases

I wanted to be poised and stand tall

no matter where it was or who it was

I prevented my own heart to beat 

to genuinely express it's feelings

I wanted to be strong 

not easy to get,

definitely not foolish 

but 

I knew it was different  

for the second time, like never before, I fell

honestly  introduced to both sides 

flawed or not it was willingly shared 

leaped over heights and inevitable no's 

it made me experience trueness  

reality that made me feel authentic  

alive, and strangely a little bit crazy 

and 

I realized the only foolish thing I've done 

was spending every chance closed off 

building a wall around my heart 

but 

now I'm convinced  I am certainly a fool  

underestimated the competence of time  

left me a little more than crazy

and vastly ambitious to armour my heart 

for the third time
