This is Life

The night was dark and long

It was one of those days,when

I was gulping drinks profoundly strong

A glass in my hand and feet on the table

Gazing emptily at the ceiling fan

Taking a sip one at a time,I laid

Adrift in thoughts about the true purpose of my life

What is ,that I want to do?

Is it really this,that i want to do?

Are these just impressions haunting my mind out loud

Or is it a play of the spirit consummed, fooling around

Enraged by questions being unanswered

I swirlled my hand and the glass fell down and shattered

The sight of the broken pieces on the ground

Woke me up from the hypnotic spellbound

Triggered in me a Eureka moment!

Enlightened my mind which was full of torment

Life is a gift to be valued ,it said

Not to be wasted on petty events instead

Life is divine,Life is holy

Life is love ,Life is being jolly

Life has no fixed definitions neither any trends

Life only starts when fear ends
