Sharpen your swords and knives,
Reload the bullets of your guns.
Let these be your weapon against I,
Who failed myself, you, and everyone.
Watch me trip, watch me fall,
Feast upon my every mistake.
Look at me with disgust and disdain,
Pound me until I break.
Fire away 'til you're satisfied,
Pierce my heart straight through.
I'll never mind, I'll never care,
Do what you want to do.
I'll say apologies in advance,
For you to be better prepared.
You wanted this and that for me,
I'm so sorry if I strayed.
I'm sorry if I'm not enough,
I'm sorry if disappointed you.
I'm sorry if you expected much,
I'm sorry if I failed you.
So sharpen and reload,
For I am more than ready.
To take it all, accept defeat, and realize,
That I've created a disappointed called 'me.'
I saw this great poem in a social site of anonymous users and I decided to give it a reply.
