Once upon a time
He came into her life
Climbing all her walls
Breaking all the boundaries.
Unprepared for changes,
She forced him out,
Built sturdier walls,
Stayed hidden behind bricks.
But he was a gem-
He had the bravery-
He had the will
That no one else had.
She realized too late,
And he didn't try anymore
In hopes that she herself
Would break her own walls.
But she didn't know,
And only made a promise
That if he comes back,
She would keep him forever.
