Trust

It takes a lot of courage to trust someone with your feelings. I give the power to destroy me with one single word to someone, who may not reciprocate those feelings. But still, the truth is out there. He can choose to destroy me or protect me. I take the fall, whether I collapse on cold hard ground or not. If the trust I put in him is worth it, I may be safe. If not, I only hope this experience makes me stronger someday to trust another. I am only human afterall.
