What did you think?

You know me well now
That's what you know
That happy, gaily clad girl in pink
You don't think that's all for show

You know me so well
The girl who only will worry for others
Can't rest till she's served everyone else
Everyone is either her sister or brother

You know all my favourites
'Cause obviously they're not a lot
I just take what the others do most
Trying something for myself- won't give it a shot

You think you know me dear
I hid myself so damnably well
You couldn't question me even once
The darkness in me would make your fear swell

You really do think you know me
My fears, my greed and my flaws?
You know my deep, dark secrets?
My inner, soulless and feared claws?

You think you know me do you?
So you must know my fears too by now
The way I scream of unimaginable things
Which would make you shiver without a vow

You know me so well dear darling
My cruelty, humour, so vicious
You must of course know my swiftness
At hoarding things you mightn't think as precious

I have explained myself clearly
Of the questions that always ponder inside me
The secrets you never want to know
The cover I use, portraying me free

So I ask this, do you really know me?
Am I the pretty one, who lets herself shrink?
Or am I the monster you never want to know?
Whatdidyouthink?

(Well this poem brings out the negativity in all of us don't you think?)
