I remember the 'hey'
As first told by you
At that park, on the grass
While just-as-friends was your aim
I remember the play
I saboutaged with you
When we made pranks of sass
But didn't feel a tinge of shame
I remember the day
I just heard it from you
That such love your heart has
Came, when to your life I came
I remember the way
It felt being by you
How warm it always was
And weirdly cool all the same
I remember it stay
Like so a year or two.
Sweetness of love in us
In our town even had fame
I remember the May,
June, July without you
When what I didn't know was
Already over's the game
I remember the gray
Of the months while I knew
I needed no eye glass
To see that dead was your flame
I remember that bay
Where I cried over you
There, cold air had huge mass
So cold, my body felt lame
I remember the day
I finally heard you
Say I am not the lass
You'll in the altar soon claim
I remember you say
That the blame's all on you
That, from us, love had to pass
And leave only its void name
