Tonight I forgot why, so
I would plant my lips
on your soft silk skin
and let my tongue
sprout like a wild fern
leaving traces of wet leaves
from your inner thighs
to your belly button,
to your cheeks that blushes pink
until I reach your lips
in which the red belongs
And by the morning
I’d remember why
I call you home
