WHO WINS- HEART OR BRAIN

A conversation between the heart, the soul and the brain of a growing up girl. Let's see who wins.

" So Jessica is asleep, we can start our discussion over this issue" said the brain. " I am broken, we cannot have discussion right now" said the heart. " As expected from you, heart. Anyways, I have always taken decisions, BOLD DECISIONS, this time also I will take a correct decision" shouted the bossy brain. " But this is a different issue....". "Call the soul, let's start the discussion" said the brain.

Soul : So here I am, what's the matter

Brain : Jessica is pretty confused about certain things and till she wakes up, we need to take the decision. Now the matter, yes the matter, I think it is the fault of the heart.

Heart : Its not my fault. She is growing up, obviously she will not act like a kid now.

Soul : What's the matter????

( Jessica was a fourteen year old girl. She had always been a bossy, over practical and a career orientated person. She never took a victory or a defeat on heart. In fact she never had a defeat. She was an all rounder girl, always full of energy. But off late, she was developing feelings for everything around her. She lost the Monday speech competition. She was sad. Her cousin could not keep his promise. She was sad. She was never like that. And these two were the reasons of the little girl's sorrow.)

Brain : So she lost the speech competition. She is annoyed with Krish for not keeping his promise. And I think it's the mistake of heart. When she was completely under my control, she was never sad. It is you Heart, who has made her soft. It is you, who made her like that romantic T.V. show, because of which she was not able to prepare her speech. It is you, who made her start expecting so much from anyone so much.

Heart : She has been under your control, that's why she never developed feelings !!!!! Putting the blame will not work Brain. Where were you when she was watching that T.V. show. You could have also stopped her from doing that !!!!

Soul : Stop it!!!! The blame game will actually not work. Listen to me, both of you. I contain both of you. Talking about first issue- the speech competition. Jessica lost because she had not prepared. But according to me, it's a good sign. You know failures are the pillars of success. Now why she was not able to prepare is because she could not manage the time. And I think it's no harm in watching any T.V. show. She is growing old, she will develop such feelings. There is no harm in it. I think Brain you should stop being bossy in this issue and Heart you should not think much about it. Talking about the second issue- Krish's promise to Jessica. I think once again the brain is being too much bossy and the heart is thinking too much. It is human tendency to expect too much and Heart you should not expect too much and should not think too much. So the conclusion is the heart and the brain have equal roles in life. Striking a balance between the two is very important.
