Tonight, a stranger tried to talk to her and cheer her up. He convinced her that he is a friend, that she could trust him. She thought maybe it will feel good to talk to a stranger.
As she talked to this stranger, she just realizes how lonely she feels inside. She got friends yet why does she have to talk to this stranger?
She asked him "how do you stop yourself from wanting to be enough for everybody?" He answered "just stop. you will never be enough for them. no one is enough. people just have to love you the way you are, the kind of love that is unconditional. that way, they will always keep you. who would want to lose something or someone they truly love?"
For a long while, she didn't answer. For so long, she tried so hard to be enough. Then she realized, it was them who are not enough for her because it was her who is not contented. She was never contented with all the love she's getting from her family, her friends, her special someone. She was never contented that's why she pushed them away. Every time someone will pour their heart to her, she'd lost them. Every time someone will walk her home, she'd tell them she can manage by herself. Every time someone tries to love her, take care of her, hold her hand, hug her tight, she would have negative thoughts . Then she'll get scared of you. She'll avoid you or push you away, telling you that you will just break each other's heart. You showed her everything you can do and everything you can offer but she still think you don't love her.
She was appreciated by her parents. She was loved by her friends. All the guys she dated loved her. But she doesn't know what love is. So she thought no one loves her, no one has ever loved her, no one will ever love her.
If only the universe will send her a message that says "you. you are the only one who doesn't love you"
