Yes, I loved the cold bloody girl (Part-II)

Info

Part-II

"Six years ago, I and some of my friends decided to have a party at my apartment to celebrate the success of my first job. I was hired in a call center. We were five and the party was non-alcoholic as one of my friends was Brahmin and never touched liquor.

It had been 1:54 am and we ran out of food. It was my turn to make run. So I got my wallet and coat and went out. I don't know why I didn't just order food online, but may be because I needed a walk and the store was not so far. I got to the store and got enough food for us.

As I walked back home, I decided to walk through the park instead of walking through the main street. Mainly because there are sometimes cases of coming across drunken people and getting robbed at the same time. Moreover, it was a shortcut to my apartment.

The park was dark with few lights working. It made the park look even darker. I walked through the park slowly with my eyes wide open. I got about halfway down the park and then I saw a young lady sitting on a bench, next to a street light.

I moved closer to her. Her long hairs and a slight glimpse of her cheeks attracted me even more.

"What are you doing at an odd hour here ?" I shouted.

She didn't reply.

I moved towards her. She had a long blonde wavy hair and white skin; and her white kurti made her look angelic.

She didn't notice that I was staring at her. I thought she might be lost in her thoughts.

"Are you okay ? Why are you sitting here ?" I asked.

She looked at me. Her face had an exceptional charm. Her eyes had the magnet which pulled me close to her.

"I am waiting for someone." She replied in an innocent way.

"At this time ? Who's coming to meet you ?"My curiosity spelled out the words.

"Anup. He asked me to wait here and never came back. Every night I come here, in the hope that he'll return."

I wished to kill that Anup. How could he leave this beautiful magic.

"See, I don't know why he left. But you should move on. He didn't know your importance. Ofcourse, it was his loss.

Why have you given your heart to someone who has no value of it ?" I asked.

"And what about the heart, I have ? His heart."

"Tear it and throw it." Anger splashed on my face. But I realized I was being possessive for a stranger.

"Sorry. I just want to say that you deserve a better heart. Someone, who would never hurt it." The look at my face made her giggle.

"You are right. I'll tear his heart and throw him out of my life." We smiled.

"Hey, I am Alok." I extended my hands but she didn't reciprocate. May be she was shy. I retraced my hands.

"Hey, I am Shreya." She replied with a smile.

Her smile pulled me to take her into my arms.

I wanted to touch her soft hands and clutch it tight so as to never leave them. I wanted to kiss her chubby cheeks to tell her I had fallen for her. I wanted to hug her tight and tell her I wanted to be with her forever.

That moment seemed magical.
A perfect time. Late night. True feeling. Young man. Pretty lady. The Moon. The darkness. Everything fell on place.

"You need to go somewhere it seems." Her words broke my imagination. I looked at her and she indicated at the carry bag.

It reminded me of the party.

"Oh yes, my friends are waiting for me. Catch you later. You should return home now." I prepared to leave.

"Not now. I need sometime alone. I am a regular visitor at this time. Hope we meet again. And yes, the heart is the best part."

She pointed at my heart. I skipped a beat. She invited me to meet again and I didn't want to leave any stone unturned to see her.

I took leave from her, though I didn't want to go. I returned home but she was all at my mind. I didn't speak anything to my friends. We parted at morning and I looked for the coming night.

The next night, I again went to the park. She was sitting on the same bench. I went and sat beside her. We chatted a lot.

A month passed and it was a regular routine for us to visit the park and to sit on the same bench. I never touched her but we loved each other. Our eyes spoke it.

And finally on Valentine's day, I decided to speak my heart out to her and propose her for marriage.

I invited all my friends to celebrate our day at my home. All the arrangements were done. I got dressed in the best outfit and walked towards the park.

I didn't know the terror which awaited me.
