You never forget your first love

You never completely get over someone you love, you never completely move on from that one particular person who taught you what love felt like. After a year you think that you're finally over him but then all the memories come crashing down and once again you end up sitting in the corner of your room at 2 am replaying all those promises he once made, thinking about all the times he looked into your eyes and said that he loves you, thinking about the feeling you felt when he first held your hand and promised to stay with you forever, but my love you were too naive to know that forever is a lie and that nothing actually is meant to be there forever. All these things are gonna cut you to core and you don't want to feel the pain anymore but a part of you still keeps hoping, hoping that maybe, just maybe, one day he might realize what he lost and he might come running back to you begging for a second chance, but your mind knows he's not coming back yet your hearts still longs for him. No matter how many years passes by, no matter who you move on with there's always gonna be this small corner in your heart that'll belong to him because no matter how much he hurt you, no matter how wrong he did, he was your first love afterall and you never move on from the person you first fell in love with.
