Did you hear it?
The sound which just brushed your ears
Was it the rustle of some leaves
Or clapping of some clouds.
Or was it her scream?
Oh no please dont turn away now
A scream from her muffled mouth
Painted in agony, winged with hope, burnt by society..
You heard it.
I heard it..
Don't you turn away now
Look at me,
Listen to it..
The sheer edges in the sound, each writhing under your bloody ignorance...
You named it a "consequence"
Her scream..
Destined to get lost in the vicinity,
Your animated serenity
A prison for all such "consequences"
She screams again
But you ignore her
It is a fucking consequence, right?
You will march and mourn after the consequence is over
But for now
In the indian society,
Every crime against a girl
Is a consequence of her being a girl..
She screamed again..
May be the last.
My town is a perfect resemblance of my country- the shine on the shores pulls you into the darkness.
