A heart full of love

A heart full of love,

yet no one to share it.

I'm capable of loving,

but not a single soul to care.

Every time I felt like giving all that I hold,

my heart suffered in darkness.

Whenever I opened the gates of my heart,

a barren land is where I reached.

Someone once said, 'all you know is love',

but they showed no mercy.

When my heart was overflowing with emotions,

they took it in their hands and crushed it.

My heart hasn't healed yet,

the wounds are still fresh.

But, all this tiny mass of flesh knows,

is to give love from all its corners.

Try me again, it screams,

I'll love with all my might.

You'll never know anyone else,

who can love so fiercely, in your lifetime.
