As soon as the pumped up music mellows out,
And the flickering disco lights started dancing slow
I began striding away from the swaying crowd
With whirling emotions like in Einstein-Rosen hole
Felt the moisten grass underneath this chiffon show
I looked up in the nightfall to search for the moon glow
Thinking its enthralling beauty could drown me more
Than my ocean of loneliness, but it's long gone like my soul
Now I'm back again in an old routine so ceaseless
Where every breakfast tastes like giving up
Enjoying dance parties means faking happiness
And leaving the house is like making a bomb waiting to blow up
Every ounce of insecurities is killing me roughly
I can now hear the mocking laugh of depression onto me
No matter how hard I try to resist and be healed and happy
I'm still sleep walking on a sea of happiness I cannot baptise myself in
While looking up in the dark night, I felt raindrops on my temple;
Rolled down to my nose, like how my tears are fastly streaming
I went back inside; And when I saw them, i wish to roll like a marble
I realized that their interlocked hands is causing this chaotic feeling
