Being Myself

I'm the type of person everyone knows,

But I'm only a friend and never close.

I'm a girl who dreams,

But her life has a monotonous theme.

I'm always an option but never a priority,

Everything related to me are always considered petty.

I'm the girl who keeps secrets,

But never finds a soul to share one

I'm the girl everyone forgets,

After their work is done.

I'm the girl whom nobody likes,

But people pretend around me not to my delight.

Am I really so bad or do I look like? 

I try to find answers as my mind goes through a hike.

Maybe I'm boring...

Maybe I'm dull....

Maybe I'm the one who spoils people's fun...

My heart is locked under lock and key,

Never will I let anyone see.

If only I could express who I really am,

Maybe I'll be a bad influence on others and that young man.
