Broken Hearted Lady

I saw you more than a hundred times, crying for the same man with the same lame reason. But the day after tomorrow, you're with him again, smiling genuinely, giving your heart after healing it for days. You, who never get tired of forgiving him but too lazy to forget. You, who gives everything but have nothing in return. You, who are diving in pain while he's comfortably getting your body. You, who loves him whole heartedly but never felt something back.

I saw you, in pain but..... you are still holding on. But tight as  it seems outside, it's actually fragile and deadly. And the rope slowly tore apart while you're hands are bleeding in pain as your eyes are shedding tears of agony.

But I promise you, it will not be long. The sufferings maybe for years for you love love him more than you sought for yourself. Killing you softly for now, but when the time comes, the scars will be healed, needles will be flowers, cuts will be red hearts flying and butterflies in your stomach. But for now, show them how broken looks like. How the euphoria comes with the serendipity of pain and orphic passing by but light is still around. Let them see the wonders of darkness with gold walls and jewels as a foundation for you as more than precious. You are more than a queen or a princess. More than book chapter. More than a diamond ring or golden necklace. You are the kingdom with no ruler, the book and the writer, the one who'll make the gold for the necklace and the diamond for the ring, for you are the happiness itself.

Let them turn back to you, saying, "She's fragile yet tough", that the irony and metaphor will be your story. Onomatopoeia will be the sounds of your weeping but it will be no melody but melancholy of lines.

Coz' I promise one day, every broken parts of the fragile heart will be glued tight using a tough foundation. I promise. Not today but tomorrow.
