Dear Mom,
I hope one day, you'll tell me how beautiful I am in your eyes
Than just, "Comb your hair, dress up nicely, you look like an old hag"
I wish you'll pick an outfit, for me to look good
Because you don't want me to be talked by any other people.
Dear Mom,
I wish you'll start listening to my everyday rants,
Maybe I could hear you saying, "It'll be alright dear"
I dreamed of murmuring words that tells me not to overthink
To not be depressed about everything.
To look up and say, "I believe in you, I know you can"
Dear Mom,
I hope you'll see my talents one day
And be proud of me
Not just because I marked A+ in every subject
Or I was able to join the top ten again,
But because you saw how I spilled blood working day and night
That finally, I took my own path and I gain my triumph in it
Dear Mom,
Please, if you'll read this be sure to hug me and kiss my forehead
Please do my pleads,
Coz' Mom, if not you then who will?
No one
No one
No one else considered hearing me for the rest of my life
