Catherine Hung Herself

She didn't like the blood squirting from her wrist,

nor the room as seen from the ceiling as she hung herself,

nor the scent and texture of the pills,

until there's something , someone

that made her to ,

until they became her only choices. 

She tried to end her pain by slitting her wrist

but she survived. 

She planned to overdose 

but her mom caught her in the act. 

Until one Friday, she succeeded.

Catherine hung herself.

Suicide was never her choice. 

She tried to talk about her pain with her mom,

her mother's reply was,

" Don't waste my time with this crap, please." 

"It is just a heartache , i know, i've been there."

" You are mature enough to handle it on your own. " 

She tried telling it to her friends,

but what they just said was, 

" Oh , Catherine , stop being an emo."

" It is just a thirst for beer , sure of that."
" Enough with one case? "

She tried to talk to people,

but what they only said was,

" You are just lacking of faith. "

" You must attend Sunday masses, 

read the bible, and attend worships."

"With your faith, everything will be healed."

Suicide was never her choice ,

until beers got unenough, 

until she had swollen her knees 

and read almost half of the bible, 

until her heart was shattered into pieces. 

Who killed Catherine?
