Can my best friend be mine forever pt.3

It was a terrible night, only two things were running on my mind. First, the beautiful times I spent with my sister Allen and next the horror I might have tomorrow with my bestie Mareen. No, not bestie, just a friend again like we used to be, when we meet for the first time. And on the other side I didn't even realize, that it was already morning but still I was feeling sleepy as I couldn't sleep last night. I looked at the watch it was 5 am. I wanted to stay home and sleep, but my heart was aching to see her again. So, I again decided to sleep. I started dreaming, "how she might look today?" In my dreams I saw, "I took my school bag and headed towards the school, kicking some stones, singing and As, I reached the school, I saw her coming running towards me. And hugged me real hard. And she said,” I missed you real bad!, where have you been all these days?" With her beautiful voice. I saw her tears falling from those glittering eyes, and I couldn't hold myself any more. So, I looked at her face and with my left hand i wipe away her tears filled with emptiness. And after that we were with each other forever..." it continued...(still dreaming)

Then, I heard a heavy voice in my dreams when I was about to kiss her on her cheeks. "wake up! wake up! Wake up!" My dream was broken, and again I heard ,"Get up! you are getting late for your school.", it was my mother, And my dream were all broken. I shouted, “why the hell you need to shout so loudly to wake me up!". I just couldn't sleep anymore. I turned around my bed and saw the clock. I jumped from my bed it was 7:20 am and my school starts from 8 am, I came running towards the bathroom. (Brushed my teeth, had my bath)

I wore my towel, opened the door of bathroom And again shouted, “why the hell you didn’t wake me up early!". Immediately She came towards me and just looked into my eyes. I could clearly see the fire burning in her eyes with anger and I thought, today I am dead. I prayed murmuring "God please save me! amen!" And she maybe heard it. She just smiled and said, “Dear! I have been trying to wake you up from half an hour, but you don't wake up! And also mind your language. You way of speaking has become far worst now a days." Raising her voice. "Its okay! okay!" I replied. I went to the bedroom and wore my dress in less than 5 mins. I again went running towards the dinning table, where my breakfast and tiffin was kept. Took the bread in my mouth, and grabbed the tiffin and put it inside the bag. My mother shouted," slow down, u will fall!" I didn't listen to her, I just ran towards the school like a dog running towards his stick when thrown by his master.... I kept running like Usain bolt, who was my favorite athlete.

luckily,(After 7 mins) I reached school just before the bell rings. All were laughing at me, as I was really exhausted, as I had to run from my home to school, which was 2km apart. I sat down on my bench, which was near the window. And told to myself, 'dude! nothing happened, the way you dreamed.' It feels just like an ordinary day.

And the class started (after 2 mins). It was science on the first period. The teacher started explaining, “do you know? Why we are alive?...." the teacher kept on speaking but I was struck with the first 3 words spoken by the teacher. "Why am I alive?" and I started dreaming again, this time I saw," I was the only one living on the planet earth. I moved around but I couldn't find anyone. But suddenly I saw a big shopping wall, I went inside it but still there was no one. I was so, excited. And started eating the foods that were packed. First I had chips, then biscuits,etc. But I didn't enjoy the meal. I just thought, 'I wish I could share these with someone!' And I heard the same words again, "wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I freaked out from my dream. Everyone started laughing at me. This time it was my teacher... she sent me out of the class.... I went out of the class and I was standing all alone in the whole balcony leaning towards the wall and I kept on thinking, what my life would be if everyone precious to me dies suddenly, or if today is the last day for me or her. I really got nervous, my heart started beating faster. I said to myself, "no matter what, I will have to call her today."

The bell rang, the teacher went out. And I went inside. I walked towards my bench sat on it, but most of them were looking at me strangely, I don't know why? and Rohan from backside asked me," are you okay? Is everything fine with you?" I replied with a smile," I am all okay." Then I turned around, opened my English book and kept on waiting for the classes to get over. And during that time I thought the whole time, 'how should I call her?'. Then the sound of the bell rang 'Ting-tong' And finally the time arrived. And I had an awesome idea with me on how to call her.

I walked out of the class slowly, then Dyna, Rohan, shouted," Andrew, where are you going? Don't want to join us today?" I replied, "not today." Then I went through the balcony and hid myself behind the tree as soon as I saw her. I was in the garden of our school. She was with her friends and her back was facing towards me. I waited for 2 mins. And gathered my courage, then I took a deep breathe and relaxed and went towards her, but as I keep taking I step more, the more I got nervous and when I was almost near her, I turned around and again returned to the tree. I told to myself," I can't do it." I planned that, I will go and call her, then, ask her, how is she? Is she doing well in her studies, and may more but I couldn't even call her. so, I moved from that tree and decided to return to my friends, Rohan and Dyna. I looked at my leg and start walking.

Someone, from my back, touched my shoulder. I turned around by moving my head from my leg to up to see that person's face. I kept my silence for 5 seconds and Looked into the person's eyes. The person was Mareen. I was just shocked. She said, "hi! How are you Andrew?" I replied, "great! Pretty good! And how about yours?"  She replied, "just like you pretty good! And Why didn’t you call me, why you just moved back before calling me?" I asked her, "how did u know?" With a surprise on my face. She smiled and said, "I know everything." I again asked, "how did you know?" She this time replied politely, "my friends saw you, they were just before me. I was talking with them. Then they said that someone came towards you and went back, and I turned around I saw you." With a giggling smile. I looked at her, and after seeing her smile, there was also a smile on my face. We talked a lot during that time. And finally, the good time came to an end. The bell rang. And we went to our classes.

I reached my class but My friends were looking at me with a big smile. And I asked them ,"what happened? Why are you all smiling at me." Dyna asked me, “who was she?" I asked  her again,-"who she? About Whom are you talking about?" I knew by "she", she means Mareen. But I just pretended, because I was feeling shy to tell them about her. But finally I told them, all my story. I could do so, because the teacher of that particular subject was absent. They told me," don't worry, u will get someone even better than her." I said, "yeah!" But in my mind, I just said, ‘no one can be better than her, ever, I just imagine how lucky the person might be, who will have her.' And "ting-tong" the bell rang again. I, and everyone went to their own seat. The school got over, but I couldn't concentrate at class. So, I just looked outside through the window and dreamed about the time I had conversation with her during the break time. And I just realized that love is possible after friendship but friendship is not possible after life. And regretted about my action.

The school got over after 3 periods of classes. We all packed our bag to go home. And We waved good bye to each other. Then we went on our own to our homes. I stepped down the stairs slowly but using a little of force, making a tap sound on the floor. I kept walking and just outside the door, I saw Mareen. She again wished me," hi! I was waiting for you." I was quite shocked, why was she waiting for me, I was very much excited to know the reason, why? So, I asked her then She just handed over me a envelope and said,” I had to give you this envelope. Please Don't open it now, just go home and open it." Before I could say thanks, she moved away. And I asked myself, "what could be inside of it? And why was she acting so strange." I put the envelope inside my bag. And went home walking. With a thought in my mind. "Is she okay? Have a done something wrong? What can be inside it?" I went all reckless.
