Can my Best Friend can be mine Forever Pt.2

"It have been 1 month since I expressed my feelings for you.
Now, I don't see you nor feel you.
You came like a wind in my life, but
Went away like a hurricane.
Tears kept falling like a rain.
But what life would have been,
if I have no pain.
I believe, memories cannot be erased so easily.
So, I hope that, someday you will remember me,
and just say,'I miss that person even today!'."

I wrote these words in my personal diary, and closed it. I still remember, the days i cried for her as she was nowhere to be seen in the school. I just couldn't help myself anymore. I didn't had the courage to even call her or text her first.

1 week passed. I finally saw her in the school. She was as beautiful as always. She looked towards me but I don't know why, but I turned my head towards the washroom, and went towards it. I acted like, if I haven't seen her.

Bell rang and we both went towards our classes. I thought the whole day, whether I should call her or not? My heart says "Yes" but my minds says "No". So, I let it slip the first day.

I made some new friends in those two weeks and so did she. Everyday, during the interval, we all gather together, and discuss about different topics. About sports, films,etc. But I often sneak out from my group to look at her silently. She usually stay with her friends, under the tree, just behind the school.

It have been 3 weeks. We had no conversation yet. That day, I was all alone, and was returning to my home, thinking what will I do, after reaching home. And suddenly someone from my back closed my eyes. And asked me to guess. First I said, "ronnie", the voice said,"no", then I again tried, "is it dyna?" Again the voice said,"no", those were the names of my new friends that I made in those two weeks. The hands were cold, so I thought it was a girl, so I called," is it mareen(the girl whom I expressed my feelings)" the voice whispered in my ears, "who is she?". I grabbed her hand, and opened my eyes. It was my cousin sister, Aleen she already knew all my new friends on social sites but I never told her about mareen. I just jumped and hugged her in excitement. She was also my sister-in-law. Then, I just said, "we were just friends. An old friend." I gave a smile to her, but I was hurt a lot inside. Then we moved towards my home.

I usually used talk a lot with her But as I got transferred from previous school to this school. So, I had to leave her. I asked, "how come you are here?. She replied," I came to visit you. It was a suprise, planned by me and your parents. Presently we are having a holiday. So, I thought, let me visit you." I replied, "great! We will enjoy a lot." And I asked her, "for how long are you gonna stay." She replied,"maybe for 3 weeks."

We enjoyed a lot for those two weeks. I along with my sister went to watch movies, then to amusement parks. Played fifa on my psp. I did't go to school for 2 weeks. It was like best days of my life.

But suddenly one day, when we were returning home after watching a movie, in the evening. My sister asked me," do you have any girlfriend?" then I just remembered mareen. I looked towards the sky, it was all orange, the same as it was, when I proposed mareen . And replied with a heavy heart ," no, I don't like to have girlfriends. They are just wastage of time." She laughed out loud and said," ha ha, my brother is in love and got rejected by his crush"  I just immediately asked,"how do you know, someone rejected me?" She replied, " I am your sister, just like your mother. I know you very well kid! He he".
I replied ,"stop making fun of me." We both looked at each other and laughed hard and went home. I said her everything that evening. And in the end I just said, "love hurts!"

We both reached home and she said, "don't give up on love! It's not what hurts. Ignorance, ego, selfishness. This is what hurts. Love makes you want to live more! It gives power to continue. Just like me, and your parents both love you. So, you, your parents and i are happy. Always beleive in love! It will surely make you happy."
And suddenly my phone beeped. It was a message from an unknown no. And it was written-" why are you not comming to school these days? I am worried. And you never talk to me. Hope to see you soon- mareen" I was so happy and said to my sis," thank you!" With a big smile on my face And went to my room and replied, with a false story "I was at my grand parents house with my parents. So, I couldn't come to school. Don't worry I will be returning to school preety soon. And surely gonna call you." And I slept. The whole night I thought about her, and I was relieved that even if she was hurt because of me. She have forgiven me.

The next day, my sis woke me up forcefull in the early morning and said "get up! Today is my last day, at evening I will be returning to home." I just said, "stay for some more few days." She replied, "I cannot because holidays are over. And I enjoyed a lot with you!" So, lets go out for a walk.

We went out, and enjoyed a lot till evening. And returned immediately after that. The bags were already packed. And the car was ready outside the house for her. And I cried a lot when I realised that, I am not going to see her again for a long time. She hugged me. And kisssed me on my cheek. And said, "don't cry, I will be back very soon! Do come to visit our place during your vacation" I said, "sure!" Rubbing my tears. And we all bade farewell to each other.

And I started preparing myself for the next day.... and asked myself, will I be able to call her?- to be continued.
