Her soul's scarred by it
Yet she didn't understand why
For she knew that it was not the thing
That her heart wished to scream
Afraid to even admit everything

But deep inside her she knows
That she does it to never see their woe.

She might be forced to do something
And she's scared to even say no
Shame and guilt consume her
Till this day from before
She wants to cry and let them all out
Yet her eyes never show them tears
She once had a path of colorful tomorrows
