Deep into the night
She looked up at the sky
Such a glittery coat
In a very still high
All the hidden secrets
Escaped through the wind
Wondering why this happened to her
With a heart so weak.
Yet she didn't understand why
For she knew that it was not the thing
That her heart wished to scream
Afraid to even admit everything
'Cause she does not want them to get hurt
But deep inside her she knows
That she does it to never see their woe.
And she's scared to even say no
Shame and guilt consume her
Till this day from before
She wants to cry and let them all out
Yet her eyes never show them tears
She once had a path of colorful tomorrows
But now it's just an endless dark road.
