Tonight, I am wearing
your cotton sweater.
It hung oversized over
my hips;
reminding me of your warmth
that waves
my homesickness away,
reminding me of your security
that keeps my senses
sane.
The hem of which hugged my thighs,
snug
yet
gentle;
reminding me of a rush,
a rush as heady as your scent,
reminding me of that swing
where we sit
where we watch
the sky, the sunset.
