I've always been so naughty my whole life,

No matter how much you scold or punish me

I can't seem to be tamed

Like the waves of the ocean in the middle of the sea.

I've committed and still commits a bunch of mistakes,

I can't seem to get a grip of myself.

But your loving arms are always there-

Ready to comfort, ready to accept me for what I am.

As I look back in time, seeing how foolish of a kid I am.

I feel so guilty and sorry,

All these years you have took good care of me,

All I have in mind is progressing, leaving you without me.

Then time took turns and I wander to places I have never been,

I've made my progress but something's still missing.

Still the foolish kid that I am,

Caught in the shimmers and dazzles of the light.

Now I am missing you here beside me, Granny, where are you?

For me, you're always there-

For I who was not there.

You've always been the one behind my every steps

But I wasn't there to assists you in your weakened knees.

You've always showered me every thing that I want

But I only asked for more, more of the things that you can't give.

You've always been so caring, so loving,

But I, you're dear granddaughter, is so selfish.

With the realization that now hits me,

I will never taken this remaining time for granted, surely.

For I will do my very best to make you happy, Granny,

And show you that raising this child, you will never be sorry.

From this day forward let this young lady take care of you.

Like how you had my back in moments I'm needing one,

Now I'll have you secure in my arms .

For you've been always there for me...
