Paradoxical Kind of Love

His throne's place high above - he is King.

She's in center, his precious Queen.

No one can outsmart him; he controls and rules everything beneath him.

Then there’s his woman, mawkish and perilousㅡturmoil she made him be.

Thinking and setting goals, that's what this King do best.

While she holds the fiery passionsㅡthings feared by him.

So he made her prisoner, cage in his own loving armsㅡ

Confine with her the beauties and tragedies burning deep inside.

"Let my emotions again be free... me, be free." She always pleads.

"No! Not again!" He roars. "You'll end up hurt, you'll cause me great chaos."

He was no ruthless once; letting her being to radiantly flow, emitting such beautiful lights.

'Til came the day when his Queen bled red, shattered into pieces.

He was confuse by the tears rolling down her cheeks

Little did he know someone crashed his Queen's pneuma.

Bewilderment rose, tricked he wasㅡ

By his Queen, mawkish and perilous, addled she made him be.

He consoled her, wishing her tears would come to an end.

But his Queen, mawkish and perilous, wanting to try, baring herself... again.

Furious he was; wanting to scream, wanting to hurt herㅡ

He can't though, she's his Queen, his beloved Queen.

Since then, they never perceive things the same anymore:

One always protecting the other, avoiding fires,

Latter always wanting escape, freeing flamesㅡ

What a paradoxical kind of love it is.
