Death

Info

And unlike you, I've seen death.
Not only of the people I love, or the places I've been in, not of the soul that I once had, or the conscience that is killed,
I've seen death dressed as a burial book that many have tasted and few lasted.
I've seen death as a human, beautiful enough to make your heart skip a beat.
I've seen death when I met them both simultaneously.
Deception of the world, of not knowing them too well. I think I lost a lover, I had in my head.
Every now and then, I taste deaths trap. Every now and then defeat it to fight back.
I've seen death as a society,
Always telling the 'dos and don'ts'.
I've seen death in molesters, always raping my dreams.
I've seen them when I met them both simultaneously.
What to do, what not to do, my rebellious self never agreed to them.
Every now and then, I taste the deaths trap.
Every now and then, I defeat it to fight back.
I've seen death in the face of my family since emotional abuse became a thing.
I've seen death in my friends, when from family they turned to foes.
I've seen death when I met them simultaneously.
Ever since my birth I've had them close, but with selfish issues, they got pushed away.
Emotional abuse they give in, maybe one day for me to reciprocate.
Every now and then I taste the deaths trap.
Every now and then defeat it to fight back.
I've seen and felt death everywhere except my serene self.
The death, it never resided in me,
Too much courage pushed it away.

Some of the lines were so incisive and poignant and deeply beautiful.

I used to wonder but now I know the purpose of my demolition, so no complains anymore.
