World we live in

No, you don't understand the world we live in,
In kryptonites and bullets we honor.
In scars and wounds we bond,
Through touch and love we heal.
We procrastinate till the very end,
And every now and then we have relationships to mend.
But as long as it doesn't hurt us,
We wonder if the bothering is anything but lust.
We live in cages; transparent.
With emotions ruthless and opaque.
How scared we are to have known,
When as ignorance you take our calm.
We live through pain,
When our efforts go to vain.
But it never bothers us to live here,
In a world so tiny yet so aware.
With a million species known; unknown,
Trying to put a mark, finding a territory or a zone.
A stain or a blod clot,
An open wound or a smirk.
When to conquer, the world is large,
When to explore the same is small.
A universe runs within us,
A word of dreams we create.
