everything and everyone is worth fighting for

it is when we lost sight of what we're truly fighting for, that skepticism kicks in and we start to ponder if pushing it through the end is still going to be worth it.

and that's the scariest part; because we'll just never know if we're far from end or an inch closer. some people can handle pain more than what we are capable of, and if they're fighting up against every obstacles to the point of exhaustion, the only answer that should matter is the answers to these questions:

"am i doing this alone? and if i am, for what cost? for what benefit? after everything, will i finally be satisfied despite the probability that i might regret some things i didn't think through?"

brave hearts would take risky steps forward and push it through the end until they can finally claim themselves victorious.

but that doesn't mean those people who chose to draw their swords back and take a break for their own peace of mind are cowards; in fact, they're brave enough to let go of what they started to choose themselves first.

and it's okay. it will always be okay to choose yourself first, because again, everything and everyone is worth fighting for, atleast at some point, until you have to choose between you and the things that hurt you the more you keep fighting for it.

these brave people did their best, but maybe along the way they realized that it wasn't what they really wanted and it's draining them.

or maybe it's time for them to finally fight not for anyone else, but this time, for their own.
