Expectations

I am tired holding back my desires just for the sake of others happiness. It feels like every second in this world is just for the people who will never appreciate my efforts. 

I am tired looking for that one person who will understand me, without expecting anything. That person who will appreciate my small efforts and never pull me back to that dingy place of expectations. 

I am tired of fulfilling every undesirable expectation of people around me.

Why is it always like this? 

Why does every person have to be the same?

Can it be less complicated sometimes? 

No. 

The inner voice answers every time.

I wish one day will come when they will say me the words, I always want to hear. 

One day will come when I will live without any fear.
