A stretch of land and this cold air,
The grass beneath my feet,
Making me aware.
My bare feet hitting the dew,
I stare at moon,
And thought of you.
The first time you caught my eyes,
And all the attempts,
I did to hide.
I fight the urge to fall for you,
But nothing will change,
This I knew.
We were young and I dreamt of love,
You came along,
Gave me reasons to fall.
You get through my stone walls,
The ones I build,
To protect my heart.
You give me freedom and show me life,
In the beautiful ways,
No one ever defines.
You made me laugh and bring me up,
You were the one,
I can not give up.
When I fly, the wings were your,
I stroll the sky,
These hights I soar.
You let me live, you give me flow,
But in the middle of our fairytale,
You let me go.
I fall so hard, my being get shattered,
Everything get lost,
That ever mattered.
The strings of my heart were wholly stretched,
You left me alone,
My world was snatched.
I cried for days, my lungs breathing pain,
You bring me to life,
Now it's all in vain.
And now I realise, it was meant to happen,
You were meant for love,
My heart, for getting broken.
But I will rise and my aches will fade,
And now when I'll fly,
It will be my grace.
You were my world, my star, a boon,
I promise, I'll remember you,
With every sight of Moon.
For those living away from home & For those too who are at home, to let them know what they have.
