Fearless Free-fall

Break the notion of leaving something for yourself.

Swim oceans. Walk miles.

Even for just a reward of a smile

There's no unit for loving

No measure of how much you can give

Give until there's nothing

Love until you're aching

Become selfish by being selfless

Act of devotion and painful sacrifices

The pure form of giving without ever wanting

A thrilling affair that may leave you dying

The mysterium tremendum et fascinans

Of falling in love and falling deep

in an endless ethereal trance

ii.

Call me stupid, call me shameless

I'll keep running back to you

Destroy me, break me endless

Without you there'd be no sense

In your presence I face destruction

Though with you I fear no oblivion

I am ready, so take me as we soar

A wreckage of lovers we're the calm

In the middle of the storm

This is actually two different poems I've written in separate occasions but I think they have the same theme so I just combined it in a two-part piece so the tone may not be very consistent. I hope you like it though :)
