Happiness over Love

Only the verdict-'I love you' hidden inside you, is not enough to feed a relationship.No,I am not expecting the cliched 'Good Morning' and 'Good Night' texts.There is something that makes me feel like I am literally forcing a connection.

I have always cringed at the thought of loving two people at a time.I asked myself-if someone truly loves a person,how can she grow interest in someone else?why would she even search for someone better?how could she give the same love to two people at a time?

Now,the same me fell for Happiness.Someone who was my ray of hope when everything went south on me,someone who made me his priority,who valued my smile above his problems,someone who taught me to love myself when I felt unworthy of the same,someone who deserves to be loved,deserves to feel special.

I might never be able to love Happiness the way I had loved Love,yet I'll choose Happiness,because he is my inner peace,my light at the end of the tunnel.

No,I am not using him.When I utter the word 'choose' I mean never turning back and giving it my all to see him happy.
