How Anxiety and Depression Works

Anxiety isn't just that "I'm shy" feeling. 

Depression isn't just that "I'm sad" feeling. 




Anxiety is when you felt something inside you that makes you sick. Makes breathing looks hard. Like everyone around you hates you. It was like that feeling when you go to school everyday and you started to think embarrassing moments will happen to you today. Of that maybe your scores on your test is low. You can't answer the question your teacher gives to you. Like maybe you will be embarrassed in front of many people. 


Anxiety keeps you up at night. You'll overthink everything. Like example, you will think how humans are formed and will die. What ifs and flashbacks that make you hate yourself. You will think all of the things that you did wrong, all the people that you have fault on. Your mind will also wander on the moments that makes you feel hopeless, sad and worthless. 





Depression works silently. Suddenly, you'll feel empty and numb. You'll feel tired even though you didn't do anything. You're just tired about the idea of living. It was like you are thinking but nothing goes in your head. You don't care about anything or anyone at all. 


Depression will attack you anytime. It will caught you off-guard. One moment, you're having fun with your friends then you just suddenly stop laughing. You suddenly felt empty. Like your energy is dissolved. 


Depression doesn't always comes with traumatic events. Your life is simple then suddenly you just hate life for no reason at all. 


When these two works together, it was a swirl of chaos. You will care too much then you don't care at all. It was like the feeling of not being good enough and not feeling anything at all. If these two attacks you at the same time, it is the feeling of dying inside. Like you are physically okay but your soul isn't. Your soul is dead. Like you are a fucking robot. 




Anxiety is the feeling of wanting it all but not being good enough. 

Depression is a torn feeling of living your life or ending it.
