If there were words to describe
The pain unbearable, in my heart,
Then I'd say there are no words
For what can I say, torn apart?
If there were words that I could say
To make it seem easier to bear,
Then would all the sorrow and grief
Be truly real and fair?
If there were words to repent
Then isn't it now trivial?
For what has passed is long passed.
Repenting will make one feeble.
If there were words to express
How I feel, now that you're gone,
I wouldn't ever say them for
You shall stay with me on and on.
If there were words to bring
Bring you back to me forever,
I would say them all myself
For you to leave me never.
