In Life

In life, people may come and go.

Some may show us the beauty of the world.

Some may make us laugh and bring happiness to our heart.

Some may guide us to be the best we can be.

Some may make us worse and invoke the beasts within us.

Some may hate us, some may like us.

Some may treat us in a special way-

Some may love us.

But one thing is for sure,

All of them would inflict us pain one way or another.

Even those whom we loved the most may hurt us.

And then we tend to change our self,

we sometimes fight or take flight.

Tears will flow from our eyes like raindrops in the night.

Our hearts will be broken and shattered into pieces.

We may not be able to fix it for a moment

and frustration will embrace us.

Pain is inevitable and it's beyond our control.

But we can evade it

if we learn to lessen our expectation from the people around us.

Easier said than done, isn't it?
