Attachment

I keep on telling myself that the freedom of my love depended on asking nothing and expecting nothing from you. But I couldn't, it is easier said than done as always. I get too attached with you but I can't keep you, I have to let you go because you don't care anymore. I cannot force a mermaid to stay in the land. I'm tired of getting your attention, I'm tired of begging for your love, I'm tired of a forceful conversation. Am I not worth fighting for? Am I not enough? It hurts to know that I have to let go but I can't, because I'm still waiting for the impossible to happen.
