Journeying through

Thinking. Brooding. Pondering.
She sat by the window, looking through the glass at the stars shining. Regretted and fretted. Still lived on her past. Her mind is wreaking a storm again. Thoughts overlapping. Heart in an unknown strange dilemma. She longs for that old self of hers when she could at least understand what her mind and heart stated. When she could live, talk, love, be free on her own in her self-created imaginative world. But since the time she grew up, everything has been different. Just different. She regrets more and lives less. She feels as though carrying a sack of worries,hatred and criticisms upon her shoulders. She is kept from rising by the unknown. The disharmony and contempt prevailing around torments her. Like every other bud, she wants to bloom too. She is tired of faking smiles and glee when deep down inside, she knows she isn't alright. She wants to love unconditionally. She wants to stand up in the face of terrors and calamities. She wants to fight her fears and conquer them over. She wants look at the sky fearlessly and just wants to be assured that she's pure within. But yet again, she doesn't know where to start from. So she mills about everywhere searching the way that will lead to her place of solace. A little confused and greatly uncertain, she journeys through the maze in the hope of seeing the vast horizon one day.
