What is your DREAM?
I was asked this question in kinder. My answer? To be a teacher.
I was again asked this question in grade school. My answer? To be a nurse.
Then in middle school and junior high, when we were asked about our dream, I said "To become an entrepreneur or a chef"
In college, taking a course even when you know in your heart you should've took a different path is hard.
Applying for an 8-5 job to have a decent salary is okay, but think again. Is that what you really want for the rest of your life?
Have you ever asked yourself if you see a future right now in what you're doing? Are you happy? Satisfied?
Having a job that pays well is not enough. Sooner or later the hunger for a dream that you've been suppressing will eventually show and consume you.
Everyone is afraid that they might fail if they try. But how will you know if you never had the courage to start?
A famous line in a song made me ask myself?
"Yamma ni ggumeun mwoni?" (Hey you, what's your dream?)
I was once a dreamer, but forced by the society to follow a different path.
Hearing this song reminded me of who I really am.
It's not to late.
So all the youngsters out there.
"What's your dream?"
(Thank you, BTS)
