Let me tell you a story
Of horror and fright
A tale so horrendous
You won't sleep the night
A story of madness
That all demons know
A story of darkness
That very few show
For you see, this little story
Is not to be spoken
It holds truths unbearable,
Of souls bruised and broken
It tells of great trials
Of antagonists supreme
It tells of true love
That tore right at the seams
It tells of all families
Ripped mercilessly to shreds
It tells of all friendships
That met their bloody ends
A story of heroes
Who fell from their thrones,
A story of lost love,
Lost hope, and lost homes
Is there redemption, you ask me?
A "happily ever after"?
Do all end in smiles,
In infectious, roars of laughter?
My dear, how naive
Of your heart to believe,
That all endings are happy,
My, it's hard to conceive
For once again I tell you
This is a story of truths--
And the truth is no endings
Are happy and cute
