What’s being feared with being friendly?
It is when you’re friends that you get to know each other. It is when you’re friends when you seem to complement one and mismatch with indifference.
When you’re friends and you are able to know what he likes, the peculiar way he eats pancakes, why he laughs so hard that even he can’t fake it.
When you’re super friends you get to know how self-proclaimed he can be, how he get to lose himself in a momentary shame and does his flexing the time he knew that he had it in him to transform from good to great, and from better to best.
Yes, you would really know a lot. Enough to be able to write him poems or letters.
But this is the fear.
We can all be his friend. His all-out supporter and at the same time the bad girl in his favorite TV series. He’s so friendly he got everyone wanting his soul.
And this is what I fear. Maybe he’ll lose himself in the process and maybe I’d be loving a soulless body. I do not want to be attached to a completely different person from whom I am deeply friends with in the first place.
I don't want a half to complete me because I am complete. All I want is another whole.
