Her ponytailed medium length hair with few white strands,

Her yellow pajamas with panda characters,

Her boasting strong teeth when I lost three

Her immune system that carries me through a night with a raging temperature of 37 to 39.9,

These are my memories with her.

She is a need in a time of need, she is a want in a time of want. We needed her when there was no food in the table, when our tower of clothes can't fit in the laundry basket, when no one is to be left behind while we were away...

While we were away, we called her names, grossed at her dishes, teased her diction, forgot her time and effort, forgot she is a need.

She is not perfect in anything with connection to chores beginning with cooking, doing the laundry, tidying furnitures, etc., but she was perfect in hiding her tears and her pain. 

My father nor my mother saw excellence in her work. They paid attention to the wrong she had committed. Their hatred for her was visible everytime we were all in the house. It was visible that I saw her cry one night while folding some T-shirts, it was so visible that she learned not to utter a word in front of my parents because she might annoy them. 

And slowly, she distanced herself from us: 

She went to our previous home every weekend at 5 in the morning with the excuse: "It's traffic at 6 am" just so my parents wouldn't see her, she skipped her favorite tv show at night so she wouldn't cross with my parents, and lastly, she became a nanny when she is family.

Then I wonder, what memories does she keep for her to remain in this family?
