Look at me like you never did before
As if it’s the first time you ever tasted chocolate
Like that hot coco drink in a café
So warm, so aromatic, and savory
Its sweet flavor lingers in your tongue
That puts a smile on that beautiful face
So look at me.
Look at me like how you looked up to the sky
Grateful, to see that stars shinning in the night
Because despite the dark, and the horrors it behold
My eyes are windows of hope you can always hold
A security we both shared, built and enjoy
Never again to be alone.
Look at me like the burning sunset
A captivating picture worth keeping,
Worth remembering,
Worth loving,
Because no matter how late I get
How temporary I settle
I always end in the same direction.
My home.
All I ask is for you to look at me
Look at me like you never did before
Because you never did
Maybe we had few nods as we walk in the hall
A few quick conversations in class
A few unintentional glances
But never more than that
Never in a romantic way
So for the last time, look at me
Like the chocolate, like the stars, like the sunset
Look at me.
With love so pure, so strong, so true
Look at me.
Though I'll never know when,
Never know how, where, what
Look at me.
But when you do,
Look at me without disgust
Because you see,
I'm blind.
Revenge is childish but not for Melissa. She despises her ex for what he did and wants him to pay now
